About Rainie

“I believe you have everything you within you to create the business and life you envision to have.”- RAINIE HOWARD, M.A.,

I'm going to do my best sharing my story :)

My Brief Story; In 2008 I began the journey of taking risks and living my life to the fullest by pursuing my passion. I followed my heart and passion and I founded Sisters of Hope, Inc a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of young women and girls. From then on I decided to allow myself to Envision, Believe and Become the greatness I dreamed of! I began living my dream and allowing my visions, passions and possibilities to become my reality.

Modest Beginnings…

I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO by a strong single parent mother, at the time I was happy yet shy. My father was in and out of my life due to his struggle with addictions and being in prison. Thankfully I was blessed with an independent, hard working, confident mom. She instilled hard work, integrity and leadership attributes throughout my life. I watched my mom progress from living in low-income subsidized housing to owning a successful health care business that employs hundreds of people.

Education and Career…

At the early age of six, I discovered that I had a natural talent to create art. Art became my first passion. Many of my teachers and peers often expressed how artistically talented I was. Unfortunately, I didn’t believe I could have a successful career as an artist. Furthermore, after taking a college art class I felt compelled to follow my passion and change my major to “studio art”. I’ve learned that the more you follow your passion, even when it doesn’t make sense, the more you connect with your true self. After completing my bachelor’s degree in art from Chicago State University, I got married to my true love and later became a mom of two amazing kids.

Business and Entrepreneurship…

After getting married and having my son at age 22 I became a stay-at-home mom, and I had my daughter 18 months after having my son. I was super in love with spending time with my family. Soon I discovered my second passion, “business”. That led me to pursue a business career. I became a business manager for my mom's company and completed my master’s degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University. Studying and working in business taught me so much about strategic planning, payroll, accounting, customer service, negotiating, sales and marketing etc… It became my passion. However, after many years of experience I grew into an expert and mastered my current position I became hungry for something new. I needed to create and innovate a new business. I innovated new school programs for Sisters of Hope which included empowerment dance, fashion modeling and etiquette workshops. I started a new business, I Heart Arts LLC a visual and performing arts institute that offers dance, theater, visual and musical arts.

In the process of running successful businesses, other leaders and entrepreneurs began seeking my advice on business innovation, growth, marketing and branding. My services evolved into speaking, coaching and hosting seminars to empower leaders. This passion has led me to authored numerous books, articles, videos and training programs. I’m fulfilling my purpose by inspiring creativity and personal development.

Faith and Family…

Standing strong in my faith and family is at the top of my priority list. I love to volunteer for my church, Grace Church in St. Louis, MO.
I want to be known as, Rainie: a woman of faith, a wife, a mother, a friend and a successful entrepreneur always determined and motivated to fulfill her life’s purpose and empower others to do the same.
