Online Business Ideas-Part 1 Blogging

If you plan to start an online business--you must first prepare to create a blog! Your blog is the driving force that attracts traffic to your site. “Back a few generations ago, people didn’t have a way to share information and express their opinions efficiently to a lot of people. But now they do. Right now, with social networks and other tools on the Internet, all of these 500 million people have a way to say what they’re thinking and have their voice be heard.” -Mark Zuckerberg The Internet has made it possible for us all to be seen and heard. This opportunity has made it possible to create, establish and grow a successful business.

  1.   Blogging --Starting a blog is very simple but being successful and operating an automatic money making blog takes time commitment and focus. A blog is a weblog consisting of discussions and information on a site on the World Wide Web.
  2. Creating A Blog --You can start a blog for free through one of the free blog website services available or you can purchase a self-hosting blog for as little as $10 per year. You decide your budget and what you can afford. You will need to pick a domain name for your blog and a webhost company to store your files.
  3. Making Money With Your Blog --There are several ways to make money blogging. On the outside looking in, blogging may seem like journaling online. That was my first impression of blogging. However, blogging is one of the biggest marketing strategies and money making tools available online. You can use blogging to promote your product or as an affiliate you can promote someone else’s. There are online advertising services that benefit bloggers by generating revenue through the CPM (cost-per-thousand impressions) and CPC (cost-per-click). There are ad networks online that will pay you based off the total of number of visitor impressions you have on your website. When you are a beginner you may not receive much income from these networks but as your traffic grows your money grows. This service goes well with Google CPC (cost-per-click). CPC network allow you to get paid every time a visitor clicks an ad on your page. Google will read the articles you write and find ads that are relevant to the information shared. CPC is one of the easiest and quickest ways for bloggers to start making money. Using Google’s Cost-Per-Click you are allowing advertiser to display their ad on your blog and as your viewers see the ads and click them, you will earn a percentage of the money spent by the advertiser. Google will transfer the money into the account you set up. It’s that easy.
